Acumentis is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Owen-Jones as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 February 2025.
Rod brings over 20 years of expertise across property operations, development, investment, infrastructure, and finance sectors. His extensive career includes senior management and executive roles with prominent organizations such as JLL, Dexus, AMP Capital, and Centuria Healthcare.
An AICD Graduate, Rod has a wealth of experience serving on boards and sub-committees, contributing to strategic, operational, risk, and financial decision-making. He is also known for his dedication and goal-driven approach, having been a member of the Australian Men’s Water Polo team at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Rod’s previous Non-Executive roles include:
- Non-Executive Director, Principal Healthcare Finance Trust (PHFT)
- Non-Executive Director, Arrow Systems (Tasmanian Mental Health Group)
- Non-Executive Director, Blue Cross Group (Victorian Aged Care Business)
- Alternate Non-Executive Director and Committee Member, Opal Aged Care (DAC Finance & PHFT)
Rod holds several qualifications, including:
- Graduate of AICD
- Graduate Diploma in Commercial Asset Management (Property Council of Australia)
- Graduate Diploma in Finance & Investment (Securities Institute of Australia)
- Bachelor of Construction Management & Economics (University of Canberra)
Rod’s appointment brings the Acumentis Board back to four non-executive directors, in addition to the Managing Director, following the resignation of Andrea Staines on 22 October 2024.
