Gerard joined Acumentis (formerly Taylor Byrne) in September 2012 as Risk & Performance Officer, after having worked in the banking industry for over 20 years. He currently holds the position of Director Risk & Performance.  

His expertise is in the mortgage security valuation field and in particular specialises in commercial, industrial and going concern properties.   
 
In his role Gerard consults on industry best practice, is involved in the coaching and mentoring of Valuers, and has presented papers on topical industry issues throughout the national Acumentis network.  He is also responsible for maintaining a database of service agreements with our major banking clients. 
 
Gerard is an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute and frequently attends conferences and industry seminars.
