This month, we’re excited to welcome Joshua and Indi to our South Australian team as Assistant Valuers. Both bring passion, curiosity, and big career goals, and we look forward to supporting their journeys.
Why Valuation?
Joshua:
“I was drawn to a career in valuation as it offers variety and balance with my personal and professional life. No two days are the same, you’re not confined to an office, you’re constantly meeting new people, and there are always new things to learn. What also appealed to me is that the knowledge and skills developed in valuation are highly versatile and can be applied across many areas of both my professional and personal life.”
Indi:
“I’ve always been interested in property, and valuation is rewarding because it directly supports important financial and investment decisions. It’s intellectually challenging, offering a mix of research, analysis, and problem-solving, while also providing diverse opportunities across different property types. For me, it’s exciting to learn a profession that is both technical and people-focused, allowing me to develop specialised skills that will be valuable throughout both my career and life.”

Career Aspirations?
Joshua:
“In the short term, I’m focused on achieving my CPV accreditation with the API and gaining experience across many different asset classes while working alongside trusted and experienced professionals. Longer term, I aim to build strong client relationships and establish myself as a trusted property professional who not only provides accurate valuations but also delivers strategic insight and adds value to clients and the local community.”
Indi:
“My short-term goal is to build my technical knowledge and practical skills as an Assistant Valuar while working toward becoming a Certified Practising Valuer. I want to gain experience across a broad range of property types while learning from senior colleagues. Over time, I aim to establish myself as a confident and reliable valuer who produces high-quality, accurate, and timely work. I want to build strong client relationships and be trusted as someone who contributes meaningfully to both client outcomes and the success of the team. In the longer term, I aspire to move into a senior valuer role where I can takeon more responsibility, mentor junior staff, and help grow the firm’s reputation.”
